As the Lake Oconee community grows, so does the impact of The Reynolds Plantation Foundation. The Foundation has awarded over $750,000 to area organizations. In the past few years, the organization has awarded close to $200,000 in grants, distributed $24,000 in scholarships to seniors at five local high schools and completed a six-month relief effort for 32 families displaced by Hurricane Katrina.
