Commitment to the Future
The Reynolds Plantation Foundation believes that supporting the endeavors of our youth is an integral part of building the future of our community.  As such, the Foundation awards $1,000 need-based, renewable scholarships to eligible students at each of the local high schools in Greene, Putnam and Morgan Counties.

Students who have received scholarship support from The Reynolds Plantation Foundation have gone on to pursue their education at a variety of post-secondary institutions, including:

University of Georgia, Georgia College & State University, Augusta Technical College, Abraham Baldwin Agriculture College, Mercer University, South Dakota State University, Georgia Southern University and Athens Technical College.

Scholarship Application Process

Students are eligible to apply for consideration as follows:

  1. Student needs to be recommended by a committee appointed by the respective principal or headmaster of their school;
  2. Student must be a U.S. Citizen or be a permanent resident;
  3. Student must be a high school senior carrying a minimum 2.5 GPA at the time of application; and
  4. Student plans to enroll full-time during the subsequent academic year at an accredited two-year or four-year degree granting institution in the United States.

Applicants must complete and submit the application packet and essay to the guidance counselor at their high school before April 1 for consideration.  Schools need to submit their applicants to the Reynolds Plantation Foundation Administrator before April 15.

Scholarship awards are to be used towards tuition, room and board, books or related fees at an accredited four-year or two-year degree granting institution in the United States. Each award is renewable for up to four years, provided the student is enrolled full-time and remains in good standing.
